The main department of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting is the Department of Press Information, headed by the Principal Information Officer (PIO). Since 1947, PID has worked to provide a traditional platform for the timely publication of information through all media.

Through proper media projection, monitoring and feedback, the PID is up and running 24 hours a day. Its purpose is to make government policies available to the public and to inform governments of the impact of those policies. Eligibility Criteria
